What Sincelast stores — locally, on your device

When you set up a monitor or remember a page, Sincelast stores what it needs to spot changes: the page address, your settings, captured values (like a price), text fingerprints, change history, and — only if you use visual monitoring — screenshots. All of it lives in your browser's local storage on your machine.

• It never leaves your device to us. We operate no monitoring servers, so there is nowhere for it to go.
• Only what you asked for. Sincelast does not record your browsing. It stores data only for pages you explicitly chose to monitor or remember, and — only if you switched it on — for sites you explicitly enabled. Everything captured is listed in the extension and can be deleted with a click.
• Uninstalling removes everything. Removing the extension deletes all locally stored data.

What leaves your browser, and where it goes

Your browser makes a few kinds of outbound requests on your behalf. None of them come to us with your monitored data:

That's the complete list. The extension makes no requests to any server operated by us — we don't have one.

Donations

Sincelast is free and supported by optional donations via Ko-fi. Donating happens entirely on Ko-fi's site under Ko-fi's privacy policy; the extension neither knows nor cares whether you've donated, and works identically either way.

What we don't do

• No analytics or telemetry in the extension. We don't know how you use it — or that you use it at all.
• No ads, no trackers, no third-party scripts running in the extension.
• No selling, sharing, or transferring data to anyone, for any purpose. There's nothing to sell.
• No use of your data for creditworthiness, advertising, or anything unrelated to making the extension work.

Browser permissions, in plain English

Permission	Why Sincelast needs it
storage	Keep your monitors, history, and settings on your device.
alarms	Schedule periodic checks of your monitors while the browser is open.
notifications	Show desktop alerts when something you watch changes.
tabs / scripting	Read the content of pages you chose to monitor, and compare a page against its last-seen state when you revisit it. Processing happens locally.
host access	Required to read the pages you choose to monitor — any page, since you can monitor any page. Sincelast only ever touches pages you opted in.

Your rights

Because your data never reaches us, exercising your rights over it is delightfully simple: it's on your device, and you can view, export, or delete it in the extension at any time. We're a UK company and honour UK GDPR rights — there's simply nothing held on our side to request.

Children

Sincelast is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Sincelast handles data — for example, an optional cloud-checking tier in the future — we'll update this page and the extension's store listing before the change ships. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
